How do I use AcuTabs?
It’s simple. Attach AcuTabs to the pages you want to mark. Then flip to the green side to find them. AcuTabs slip on with ease, yet hold firmly & gently.
The problem with traditional marks
There is a problem marking pages in a book using traditional tabs or bookmarks. If information is printed on one side of a tab and not the other, one cannot see this information from the non-printed side and thus cannot predetermine the tab’s meaning from the non-printed side without first turning to the tab to examine the printed side.
If identical information is printed on both sides of a bookmark, or both sides of a clip type tab such as a paperclip, it is impossible to determine which page this information applies to.
If identical information is printed on both sides of a Post-it® or sticky type tab, one may assume the tab’s information applies to the page it is glued to. In this example we have a similar problem; the user cannot visually predetermine what page the tab’s information pertains to without first turning to the pages in question and hand inspecting the tab to determine which page it is glued to.
Previous marking products are ambiguous until the user turns to the pages in question to determine which page is marked. In other words, previous methods may require more than one page turn to find the page the tab refers to. Thus, older methods are not efficient.
AcuTabs to the rescue
AcuTabs have the same information on both sides, but one side is printed red and the other is green. You guessed it, green marks your page (red is the other side). If you see red, your mark is behind the tab. If you see green, your mark is in front of the tab.
Right or Left – Now You Know
Your marks are either in front or behind AcuTabs. Therefore you see your marks as either a right or left page. – See before you turn!
